DIY Floral Centerpiece

Hey Creators! L ooking for an affordable and elegant floral centerpiece idea for a wedding or special occasion? Here's an easy solution! The things you'll need for this project are.. a wine glass, I purchased mine from Daiso Japan for $1.50. You can probably find cheaper ones at the Dollar Tree or at your local thrift shops. small glass bowl , I also purchases this from Daiso Japan for $1.50. floral foam , make sure its floral foam for fresh flowers that absorbs water. I bought this at Daiso Japan as well for $1.50. water , in a small bowl or bucket. flowers , fresh flowers from your local farmers market will save you tons of money. scissors tape , clear tape. Step 1 . Cut out a block of floral foam and trim the corners to fit in the small glass bowl. The foam can stick out a half inch from the top of the glass bowl. Step 2. DIY Farmers Market Flower Bouquet

Sorry, it's been a while, but I'm back and ready to create more fun and easy DIY crafts.  So, I wanted to share with you an activity I participated in last year, Memorial Weekend, for the Folk Life Festival in Seattle, Washington. It was thanks to the Hmong Association of Washington, I had the pleasure of hosting a DIY Flower Bouquet Workshop. Our goal was spreading awareness about the Hmong Community and it's Flower Farms in Washington State.  Here's a short summary about mother's flower farm and my experience.  My mother's flower business is Home Make Gardens and we are a family operated flower farm located in Carnation, Washington. We have about 5 acres (soon to be 12 acres) of flowers and sell them at local farmers markets. Creators! Halloween is coming! Today I have simple DIY Halloween Headbands inspired by Pinterest for all of you. No need to buy an expensive $50+ Halloween costume this year which you’d probably only wear once. Here are four easy headband ideas for Halloween. The first headband is Bejeweled Cat Ears ( from mesewcrazy.com) You will need black felt, pink fur, gems, hot glue gun, needle & thread, scissors, and a headband . Instructions: Step 1 : Cut out two pieces of black felt and two pieces of pink fur in the shape of cat ears. You can save the templates here: Step 2: Take the felt and wrap it around the headband. Make sure to position the felt slightly to the side to make them look like ears. Match up the tips of the piece of felt and hot glue it in place. Welcome back Creators! Are you l ooking for an easy way to glam up a floral arrangement you’re giving as a gift?! Here’s five simple steps to wrapping a flower bouquet for a special occasion! The things you will need are.. a flower bouquet , I arranged my bouquet with the flowers from my mother's garden but you can purchase prearrange bouquets from your local grocery store, flower shop, or farmers market flower vendors. paper or newspaper, scrap paper. plastic bag , medium size. water , 1 cup. gift wrap tissue paper , any color of your choice, I chose gold. scissors ribbon, any color of your choice, I chose gold. gift wrap paper , any color of your choice, I chose black. STEP 1 : Wrap the paper or newspaper around the stems of the bouquet. I prefer using newspaper but didn't have any at the moment.
