About Me
Hi, I'm Vicki. A 26 years old Hmong American women born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I'm the baby of eight children (four boys & four girls) and two amazing refugee parents. I'm a bit socially awkward, and can be easily discouraged and emotionally insecure, BUT I'm also very determine in following my dreams, and extremely grateful to live a life given the opportunities to do so. I truly believe in my abilities and the conviction of hard work.
I decided to make createwithvicki solely to share my passion of crafting, innovation, and food! To be honest, I always wanted to be a writer, an author of a major fantasy novel to create different worlds and characters for people to enjoy. Although that hasn't happen yet, I'm able to use my creativity in floral arrangements. Growing up with my mother's small flower business has induce my passion for flowers. Which is why a majority of my posts are flower DIY's.
I also love to personalize things especially gifts, cards, and décor around the house. It just gives everything a little more meaning, you know. I love LOVE sweets and have the teeth to prove it! I'm no professional, but I do enjoy baking and cooking, and especially devouring delicious foods.
